We are located on the Illinois River, about one hour from Chicago. Family owned and operated from its inception in 1961, the Thorpe’s have endeavored to create an oasis apart from the hustle and bustle of the city. A short drive southwest of Chicago is all that is required in order to experience the serenity of the Illinois River.
