It was 1947, and a young man named Maurice Brazeau wanted nothing more than to turn his greatest passion into a career. He worked tirelessly as a mechanic for JM Duck Marine, and not long after decided to venture out on his own; in 1953, he found himself building boats in a South Windsor garage on Dominion Avenue. This was the start of it all for 20 year old “Mo,”as everyone knew him, and it wasn’t long before he made a name for himself as the trustworthy and knowledgeable owner of Dominion Marine & Boat Works.
